Public Shows
We perform themed shows for the public once per month for most (but not all) months of the year. We invite the community to come and share their stories or to witness their fellow community members stories and experience the magic of Playback Theater as our talented, passionate troupe of performers improvise a piece honoring the words and emotions that were shared with us. It can be moving, hilarious, sweet, engaging and so many other adjectives. We hope you join us!

Introduction to Playback Theater Workshop

Playback is an applied form of theater based in improvisation, storytelling, and community. Playback creates a bond between our storytellers and the performers, who re-enact these stories in real time, and the community that witnesses both. Like our experiences, Playback can be powerful, silly, deep, and comforting.
This workshop will explore the basics of Playback Theater including improvisation, active listening, movement, theatrical forms, and play.
